BookLamp is Pandora for books

Every once in a while I do learn something at a conference. I was attending a virtual conference in e-books when I learned about this little web site. http://booklamp.org/index.php
Using a technology similar to Pandora where the elements of a work are cataloged and used to suggest other similar works, you enter a title or author name and receive suggestions of other works. The logic behind this is if the same elements of the work you like appear in other works you might like them as well. My experience with Pandora has proven this true for music. I am curious to how this translates to books. So far my first few searches have resulted in books that on first glance I would like to read. I look forward to playing around some more and see what comes out of it. As a tech savvy reader I have to admit to a certain excitement whenever I come across a new tool for discovering books.
